Spandau Ballet In Amsterdam
On Sunday November 1 Spandau Ballet gives a concert at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. General ticket sales start on Saturday 25th April at 9am, however you can purchase tickets in a pre-sale through the Spandau Ballet Store from 9am (BST) on Thursday 23rd April.
One of the most successful and most influential British bands of all time returns this year on stage. All five original members Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp and Steve Norman are back together for the first time in 20 years for a World Tour, with a concert in the Netherlands in November.
From pioneering early singles ‘To Cut A Long Story Short’ and ‘Chant No. 1 (I Don’t Need This Pressure On)’, to World hits ‘True’ and of course ‘Gold’, all the big hits will be heard in the Heineken Music Hall. With 23 Worldwide hit singles, 25 million album sales and 6 multi-platinum albums, this is one of the most long-awaited reunions of this decade.
Spandau Ballet was formed in 1979, during the economic crisis, by five friends on a school in North London. In a short time became they one of the most fascinating bands on earth. Spandau Ballet grew from underground and by fashion and music obsessed working class Londoners to superstars.
Besides their music, their appearance and style were of great influence on the fashion world and beyond.
After 20 years they are ready to re-conquer the World.
