Spandau Activity At Christmas and New Year
23rd December – Gary on The Jo Whiley Music Show
Gary will be appearing on The Jo Whiley Music Show one Sky Arts 1 on Friday 23rd December at 10pm (GMT).
Gary joins singer Natasha Bedingfield and DJ Shadow on the panel as they and Jo talk about their lives, their careers and discuss hot topics of the day.
The Lyrics Of Gary Kemp book has proved something of a hit! The Gary Kemp Store has very nearly sold out of the first run and is looking to re-stock straight away. Also remember that the first 250 are signed by Gary himself!

26th December – Absolute Radio: Gary Kemp Special
There is to be a Gary Kemp Absolute Radio Special being broadcast on Boxing Day, December 26th between 8-9pm (GMT). Gary joins DJ Martyn Lee to talk about his success in the band and his memories of music that inspired him growing up. 31st December – Live At The O2 German Broadcast
3SAT will be broadcasting an edited version of the concert on New Year’s Eve, Saturday 31st December 2011 at 10:15am (CET)
Re-live the band’s amazing homing coming show at London’s now legendary O2 Arena from the Reformation Tour of 2009/2010.

13th January – Martin to Guest In ‘Hustle’
Bass man Martin Kemp will be back on UK TV screens early next year when he appears as a guest on the hit BBC1 drama ‘Hustle’ on 13th January 2012 at 9pm (GMT). In other Martin news, look out for further information in the new year on the DVD release of his acclaimed and award winning directorial debut ‘Stalker’. The release currently has an on sale date of 30th January.
22nd January – Oakenfold’s ‘GOLD’ – New Mixes Released!
Paul Oakenfold’s remix of Spandau Ballet’s classic global hit GOLD has been going down a storm in clubs around the country. DJs have been playing the Club mix and the Dub mix over the past couple of weeks and have been reporting phenomenal reactions to the track.
Steve Norman is very excited about the feedback from the clubbers: “I’ve always loved playing Gold as it goes down so well with the crowds. What Oakenfold has done with the track is fantastic. He’s really turned this classic anthem into a very relevant contemporary club track.”
