Martin's Tweets Are A Hit with The Times
Last Friday’s copy of The Times saw Caitlin Moran flag up Martin’s acclaimed Twitter Channel in her Celebrity Watch column, below is what she amusingly had to say…
Martin Kemp – ‘Sometimes, CW is struck by the fundamental unnecessity of interviewing celebrities any more now Twitter exists. A million investigative journalists could spend nine days interviewing Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet, in shifts, and still never think to ask him what the worst thing is that has ever happened to his face while abroad. But on Tuesday, Kemp spontaneously tweeted: “I once got sunburnt so bad in Australia that my nose skin fell off in once complete piece…looked like some plaster mould.” The most important thing is that now we know this of course, but ultimately at what cost to journalism?’
